Imagine you were 1 whole year into tattooing right now.
I started as a mom to a baby, full-time enrolled in school, studying for medical school entry exams.
Never did I imagine that my love for art would turn into a career that made me turn away from medicine. I couldn’t be more grateful that it did. One year into tattooing I had quit school and found myself booking out my schedule 4 days a week doing tiny tattoos in my own studio suite with no side hustles or plans to stop. I was making more money than i could have ever imagined being a working artist and mom. I was home each night with my daughter, excited about the next day, and feeling like a total badass for making it all happen. Today, I own my own shop, I train experienced artists in my techniques, I am booked and choosy about the projects I accept, I have a flexible schedule of ease and I am around for my now two daughters whenever they need me. I’m not lucky, I worked hard, worked smart and I started when I did.
My message? START NOW, I’m so glad I did.
Fine line tattooing is extremely sought after and hard to learn on your own. It is not well understood by the industry and is being performed poorly by unqualified people all over. If you can show well healed fine line work and creative designs, you can be a busy working artist. Getting there is what this program is all about.
Learning fine line tattooing from someone with the skills and results you’re wanting to get is an investment in your success. Taking online classes with little to no substance, watching endless youtube, or learning from permanent makeup artists is never going to get you to your goals in an effective and reliable way.
Seeing in person fine line tattoos by an experienced professional will get you ahead. Working on a live client under supervision will boost your confidence and assure you in knowing the steps. Practicing relentlessly with your sanitary set up/ break down and practice pads will build the best habits for this career. Getting all the details, science and “why’s” behind the techniques, machines, and supplies will give you a knowledge base to build on. Committing to yourself, being bold enough to show up and try, and choosing your thriving art career will change everything.
There is no substitution for a real, long term apprenticeship with a mentor in your preferred style but if you don’t have 2 unpaid years to give to a shop, a portfolio that will get you accepted, and a reputable fine line expert looking for an apprentice near you, this is the next best option.
I don’t pretend you’ll walk away from here winning conventions and raking in 6 figures, and anyone who tells you that is lying. But I do know you’ll leave here with the foundational skills in every area you need to be successful in this career, appropriate techniques, and a connection to a growing community for support and feedback.
I created this program because of so many people who’ve reached out to ask for training but also because it took me YEARS to sort through these foundations and become highly skilled, it took me travels to europe to get expert techniques, it took me failures to learn tattoo business basics, and it took me forever to build community. I want to help people who are in the place I was, looking to be happy in your work, wanting to create art and be paid well, looking for a flexible career path and a new obsession.
I created this to deliver the years of learning I wish I could have started off with.
You have to really want this career to be successful at it.
I’ve created this 3 day In-Person program because what’s out there sucks. Tattooing is the best career path I could have ever had and I chose it over medical school. I want to empower women like you to take ownership in the industry and find what I have- flexibility, reliability, creativity, and income that exceeded my goals.
What makes working with me different than other programs?
FINE LINE: my entire career in the industry I have been working exclusively with fine line style. I am an expert in getting excellent healed work. Fine line is a completely different concept to traditional line work and uses different settings, products, and knowledge.
MENTORSHIP: I believe we need more community, support, and continuity in our industry. You will be the first group of women inside the Girls Club Tattoo community. This is an exclusive space where I will continually share Q&As from members, live tattooing, flash sheets and procreate assets, live sessions, and so much valuable ongoing mentorship. You’ll be able to connect with other people at your same experience level and higher to mentor each other and offer support. Enrolling in this program will give you 6 months free access to the community and you’ll be able to give feedback as Beta members
SCIENCE: I have a history in fine arts studies and biology/pre-medical studies. I know the science and mechanics of machines, design, skin, healing, sanitation, and applying tattoos. Most of the classes you can take will not include a robust explanation to these things or even provide you with how many mm into the skin to be! (my own experience). I felt so ripped off when I paid good money to get a cliff notes version of safety, technique, and machines. You’re smart and I won’t dumb it down.
HANDS-ON: You will watch me tattoo live. You will tattoo a willing client that I will provide. You will hands-on practice setting up and breaking down with sanitary protocol over and over. You will be working on practice skins, applying stencils to each other, and be constantly hands-on, not just theory.

PMU artists are welcome with one caveat: be willing to learn new techniques, processes, and truths. Fine line tattoo for body is different than PMU and I will teach you the proper way to sanitize, hold your machine, depths etc. Be willing let go of your habits and learn better ones. Some training in PMU can be a challenge to overcome.
Previous experience: Those with previous experience are welcome to participate to learn higher techniques and safety. If you have 1+ years of consistent professional body tattoo experience and want to learn my floral or fineline techniques but don’t need foundational training, I offer 1 on 1 days for upleveling from where you’re at.
I will also be hosting a program in January 2026 for experienced artists who want to learn my floral/linework techniques. Please email Hello@girlsclubtattoo for more info!
